There are lots of people who act annoying, irritating and jerk like.
They think they're smart but really they're stupid and bigoted.
They try to outwit nations, and only really do because those nations
are filled with equally stupid people.  There
are lots of people who are as evil as sin and twice as dumb as a sheep, but
only others will think it, the target in question will think they're clever,
good and right.

I could probably tell you a tale involving two Fontanites and an elf walking
into a bar which would really accent this, but I'm sure you've already heard
it before. In the right circles, you'll find no one who sees those peoples
as anything but evil, and right across the boarder everyone will believe
their saints. Such is the nature of prespective.
