It seems (and I know Tom has assured us otherwise) that serious wounds
don't last as long as they once did. I've had characters out-of-action
for weeks with serious wounds in the past, but lately it seems that a
serious wound recovers to wounded status in a day.
If the act of collecting a bounty had a real possiblity of putting a
character out-of-action for an extended period, maybe fewer characters
would "volunteer" to have their bounty collected.
