With this subject in mind, on Atamara we had a plague of people who
talked a lot, mostly pointlessly, to the whole realm, and the game
became like a spamfest for a week or two. In fact, their rp seemed to
be based around posting as many messages as they could to express
their right to speech. Eventually we IC banned them for being rude
and whatnot. Is eventually IC banning correct, or would OOC been
appropriate because they were really lowering the quality of the game
for some players who log in once a day and don't want to sift through
50 pointless messages. Or does the existence of the ignore function
refute this.
