I cut out my comments to make this shorter. ;)

My character does not give his enemies tools. Now, on the other hand,
I, as a player, always leave clues and give foreshadowing.

The problem is that, as of yet, nobody has found any of them yet. Or,
at least, not enough of them that matter. And I'll let people ponder
that, lol. Hireshmont has already dropped clues about what his next
big plot is, and he's really my only character who has anything big
to hide right now.

As I rule of thumb, I just dont tell my characters' thoughts unless I
really want to make it clear exactly how he/she is feeling.

No, planning RP doesnt work. But, maybe I have this wrong, it sounds
like planning RP is what the FEIers want, for RP to be strictly bound
up and to be "collaborative" in that X people sit down and plan it
out, then RP it in pre-set plot lines. I'm sure their RP messages are
very clever and eloquent, but I dont like seeing RP planned.

Well, I have precious little respect for postmodernity, so
postmodernity can differ all it wants, lol. Each to his own philosophy!

Lastly, write, dont ignore what other people wrote. Build off it,
throw in unexpected plot twists, grow and develop your character, set
things up so you dont have a LINEAR course of plot, but more of web,
a zig zag. Linear plots are great for novels, but for games every
person has a plot line they will follow, the combination results in a
tangled mass.... but what a beautiful tangled mass!
