I don't think that's a good idea. That would probably give new players a bad 
idea of what Battlemaster is all about. It is focused on all-out war, and many of 
the games elements just aren't available.

Mentors are really the key to getting new players adjusted, not specialized 
islands. I've had quite good luck with my mentor character by sending 
personalized welcome notes to new players.
