Monsters are monsters. They are frightening and usually HUGE. One 
monster easily equals several armed men in combat strength. We're not 
talking goblins here.



It's perfectly normal that a unit fleeing the battlefield in panic will 
be a few guys short when you gather them all together. Your men 
obviously decided that they had been lucky this time, but they didn't 
want to see if they had the same luck again.
