Question:
Do we know he's spoiling the fun of 100 other players? Or are we merely
infering that since the following 20 people who now find their realm totally
doomed aren't having fun then everyone else must equally be unhappy.
By example, I'm sure the mad duke is enjoying themselves. Similarily the
invading nation you keep mentioning must also be having a ball since they
get to destroy this 'evil empire', not to mention all the people who are
swearing undying vengence on said mad duke, and the spectators who are
laughing at said doomed nation's misfortune. So if we look over all it seems
as though more fun is gained then lost. Course applying numbers to fun is a
rather silly idea, so take it with a grain of salt.
Regardless this type of situation will be fixed when Tom finishes with his
new idea and makes it so you can fill 'dead men's pointy boots' as it were.
Of course Tom won't add new code until he finishes fixing the bugs, like the
rebellion problem, and he won't get to that until he's got some free time
and he won't get much free time if we keep him busy answering questions on
the d-list. ;) I'm sure it's been said before, but the occasional problem
like this is the effect of us all being 'beta testers' for Tom. More then a
few nations have died becuase of little glitches but hey it happens, besides
it's the people that matter not the flag.
