How would it be an abuse? It's simply political intrigue. You know that
someone is causing you trouble, so elect them to the rulership. I
completely fail to understand how you all view that as abuse. If your realm
has multiple Royal's (which many do), you could even conspire with them to
takeover the Dukeship of the city in question, and if it is the capital,
lead a rebellion and force him to step down, or overthrow the government and
start anew. Simply being creative with what you have is not an abuse. Tom
often has in my past experience, looked at the checks and balances of a
system. You just have to find what they are. (Region claims are another
example.)
