Point being that One had a history of betrayal, yet was still
elected, so perhaps this should have been anticipated. Plus, all it
would have taken to see that a Royal Duke cant be stripped of titles
would have been, probably, A- a read-through on the Wiki, B- a
question on the D-list.

Hmmm..... I cant remember the last time I did any coding for BM....
in fact, I cant remember the last time 99% of the players did any
coding.... many players DONATE, but, as has been said, that doesnt
make them partial owners or something.... nope, cant think of a
single way I've contributed to BM. I am priveliged to get to play it,
and will happily and without complaining abide by whatever rules Tom
sets.

Why not? He's still not immune, actually. Has he any bans from other
realms on EC, perhaps? Then have them capture and execute/deport. As
a matter of fact, I believe a prison stay might make him lose his
titles(though not his royalty). But, really, I dont see why a
powerful duke shouldnt be immune.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, I apologize. I misread your statement.

Well, thos 60 nobles could join an enemy realm, TO the city, get one
of their number to buy the title, then re-secede. Or they could all
leave the realm, and it would collapse and fall apart.

Your ruler still has diplomatic control, doesnt he? Your banker can
change taxes to disadvantage One, cant he? (i.e. make other classes
besides One's class have much higher tax shares, give big tax shares
to other council members, make region share really high) Let One
disband the militia, and just defend Stora.

Really, I dont see the problem with an immune duke.
