Exactly. All of this thing with him being royal and him can't be touched was
fine - as long as you could send an infiltrator after him.

Because that is what would have happened in middle ages, you can't just get
rid of him because he's royal and he still owns his city and migth wield
influence.. what the king would do is send someone to kill him. Now, it's
sad enough infiltrators can't kill, at least make their seriously wounds
mean SOMETHING and get the dukes removed from their position.
