I don't see an acadamy as being a realm thing or an enemy thing... I see it
more as a place of higher education for nobles. Where for a fee, and
individual can take classes pertaining to a certain skill-- be it fencing,
econamics, public speaking, or whatever. In that respect, it comes quite
similar to a modern-day college, and there are US citizens who go to France
to learn. Just think of it as a self-improving thing, not an
enemy-destroying thing.
