Kalmar Islands is not two days old, more like a couple months.
It is possible that gold was funneled in. I wouldn't think gold would be the
issue. It would the people. KI consists of 8 regions, mostly badlands and
mountains. The total population is 4200. Over half of that comes from one small
city region.
Build as many recruiting centers as you want. How many troops can you hire
out of a population base of only 4200 people? Since the rebellion 4 weeks ago,
the military power has increased from under 1000 CS to nearly 10,000 CS.
I would bet that a lot of that CS comes from former Avamar TLs bringing their
troops with them as they abandon their other realms. There was some talk from
El Cid about holding a draft about 2 weeks ago.
It will be interesting to see if they can hold this much troop strength. KI is an
extremely poor, low population realm. Any other realm on EI that wanted to
could easily wipe it out. After the El Cid rebellion pissed off the entire island, the
only thing that kept him from getting booted off the island is that no one could
be bothered to send 5000 CS over there to get rid of him.
