You are all ranting and raving about nothing.  Here's how a turn would go.

Turn Change 0000 hrs - Generals/Marshalls Login and assess situation as 
best they can.  They make the same usual non-specific orders (read non 
individual) that they always do.
Turn Change +0200-0600 hrs - Most people login and recieved orders.
Turn Change +0600-1200 hrs - Everyone else logs in and follows the orders. 
 The turn happens, and everything is the same as it is now.

So, really you're all just going crazy for no reason.  Simply login an 
hour or two earlier than you already do and you'll be fine.
