I was against and I'm still against TOM intervention.
My opinion is that:
1) thing shall be set in game by the players.
2)most of Tom intervention are too late and with the time have the opposite
result of what I think he wanted.
In the time of the creation of Yssaria there was a discussion about TOM not
wanting to have to reset the East Continent, because the so called SA had
took the advantage. That this game is not about winning...
During the Coimbraheim episode, Tom had manually place Belgemir the fearless
as Duke of Westmoor (who was rogue), as result Belgemir destroyed all the
RCs and infrastructures before he left. Oligarch had to spend gold to repair
it all. Costing them gold that they couldn't spend on their defence, adding
to that the men per RC limit, there was no way that Oligarch could defend.
Good effort with the claims, but it just seem to be too little to late.
I was against intervention when they were causing me a disadvantage and I'm
still against intervention even if It would help me now. Tom I really think
that you should have let the things going by themself and see what the
players of capable of, rather than doing intervention, piss off many players
and having also many of the players holding you directly responsible for the
mess that the EC had turned into.
The winning at all cost spirit is the only thing that drive the East
Continent, Hail to the gang bangers.
