Lol, you are making a jump of faith that simply isn't there.  I didn't 
write the rules, Tom did, and he did so with a purpose or an experience 
he had, go bark up his tree and stop your baseless flaming.

Erhmm, and people were complete individuals too, not played out by some 
puppet master (player) that literally controlled the whole family.  When 
was the last time in BM that a son killed a dictator/king to take his 
crown?  I bet you can't think of any time that happened.
