800 days+ character in Abington without a single position. Then the
character doesn´t deserve it. It is as simple as that.
The leaders appoint the ones they think will do a good job. The realm elects
those they think will do a good job.
If that character didn´t successfully give them that impression during 800
days+, he doesn´t deserve it in my mind. It is a very natural selection. If
you run a company, who do you make your successor? Who do you promote? The
ones who has done, and probably will do a great job.
I think your ideas come from good intentions but that they would actually
stab the ones in the back instead, destroying the game experience to a
pretty large degree. Your desire to be on top is often more fun than to
actually be there. Imagine all those fighting to become rulers. Those were
the best times of my game experience, when I hadn´t experienced all
positions and I was curious, the characters had to fight for it.
