The player of Boom Boom, just like you do, also plays another one in the
same island.  In the same realm, even.  But he still only holds one council
position, and is limited by the same code.

Allowing the change you want would make it possible for him to play both Mel
and Boom Boom in the council.

Having characters in enemy realms is not against the rules.  The code allows
you to have characters in enemy realms if you want to.  What it does not let
you do is having two characters in one island holding council positions,
regardless of which realms they are in.

Having access to information is not the same as having the power to decide
according to that information.   Just knowing what the ruler, general,
banker, and judge do is not the same as actually playing the ruler, general,
banker or judge.
