another one) - formal treaties regarding borders

I like it better with everything RP'd.
1. There are too many conditions and possibilities to implement every
treaty in game mechanics.
2. And, a treaty between rulers is not necessarily law as handed down
within the realm from the judge, and I don't think the two should be
lumped together. It runs the risk of turning international law into
national law whether the characters agree or not.
3. I don't like auto-politics. That's just my bias though. IMO Having
this situation where any violation of the treaty is automatically
noted, recorded and handed down from game mechanics turns the
mechanics into a kind of United Nations, "Hey you violated the
treaty!" Realms should use scouts to see and their own political
knowledge to discern if anyone violates treaty; otherwise whats the
fun?
