or if you're a monster/undead hunting guild, or a religion with  
specific use for adventurers. Plus, medieval Churches were PRECISELY  
where commoners came. Whether a small chapel, or a cathedral, it was  
the center of a city or village, second only to the manor/palace  
complex.

To allow people to sleep in a guild/temple really isn't that  
farfetched. The question is really whether Tom WANTS that to happen  
or not. The history could be argued either way.
