And we both probably know people who are just the opposite.  You're
suggesting an arbitrary imposition instead of some kind of enticement to
participate.  Additionally, you're also suggesting a philosophy of "if you
can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen."  Sounds like tons of fun.

"Significant size" is the key phrase.  Look at the numbers of people in

BM isn't to scale, so don't draw comparisons between army size on the same
scale.  40K CS should be just as hard to manage as Napoleon's 400,000, if
not more so given the technology of the time.

Your suggestion seemed to preclude the consideration of the hundreds of
other people who aren't Marshals or Generals.  I can appreciate that it was
a suggestion and not a demand.  Just the same, my suggestion to relax was
not directed entirely at you.  The difference is that my "enthusiasm" in
this debate is in response to an infringement on the amount of control I
have over my own characters, not on the effectiveness of my strategy and the
game's/other people's inability to fall in line accordingly.
