Yes, and the documents is the good reason.  Not to mention I 
investigated Thomas, I didn't just say you bought it bye.  I spent two 
turns talking to people about what happened.  I believe the text on 
buying a region says the person flees afterwards, so he knows something 
is up and I would too when he's no where to be found.
