[Discuss] Favoritism for Old Rancagua again

Bugs happen. If you were to try rebelling now (unless it's been
fixed since the last I heard), you'd fail instantly, since there's a
bug that makes rebels rogue just before the first battle.

But I guarantee you, 100%, absolutely, no exceptions, that no part of
the code--none, not a single line--is written to favour one realm or
denigrate another. There is exactly one realm with **any** special
code, and it's all flavour text and a single unit option ("Torture
your men") for Outer Tilog in the Colonies.

If you think that Tom writes the code specifically to thwart your
plans, then I have to say, you have an extremely inflated opinion of
your own importance. Tom doesn't care if your rebellion succeeds or
fails.

Furthermore, if you have RP planned out that depends heavily on the
outcome of something as uncertain as a rebellion--and they are
*always* uncertain--and you get very upset when it doesn't go the way
you expect, so you can't use your RP, you clearly don't understand
the way BattleMaster works. If you want to RP about the outcome of a
major event like that, *write RP for both possibilities!* I've had
RP written in the past for several events that didn't end up
happening, because I wanted to be sure I had everything covered.

The game isn't here for *your* enjoyment. It's here for *everyone's*
enjoyment. If you want to play the game, you have to learn to live
with its chances--and its shortcomings.

even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor
spirits who neither enjoy much or suffer much, because they live in
the gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat."
