A lot of judges use deportation instead of beheading someone because 
they don't want the person to get the fame point for being executed or 
to punish the player by sending them to an island they think they'll 
hate.  Colonies is often used for this.  Two suggestions, either let the 
person pick where they're deported to or make it so that if you have a 
moderate amount of gold between 25-50 (before factoring in passage as 
any more then that and the judge would probably just steal it), they'd 
have a chance to actually pay the captain to turn the ship around and 
return you to your land.  The more gold you have the more chance you'd 
have, but all of your gold would be used up in the process, regardless 
of how much you had.
