It wasn't really a request either, it was an offer. You don't gain
from people reading your tutorials (at least, not directly), so you
had no reason to request people contact you, you were just offering to
give them the tutorials if they did.

There isn't a message type for offers, but I think they can go under
reports.  You're reporting that you have something others might like,
and telling them how they can get it.
