Yes, we all know and accept that.  The issue we're discussing here has
nothing to do with the troop leaders, it has to do with the players.
The issue of ruler turnover is an OOC one, so please stop bringing IC
justifications into the discussion.

We know, IC, it makes perfect sense for the ruler to retake his throne
when he returns. We don't care. OOC, it is a requirement, for the game
to be fun for everyone, that it be possible to change rulers without
the characters in the realm in question wanting the change.  At the
moment, that is impossible if people just re-elect the old ruler after
they are removed.
