That's a fair point. There is certainly a case to be made for a single, 
realm-wide official like the General, even if I'm still inclined toward 
abolishing it. I guess I just don't see the need for it to be a super-duper 
council position -- one that precludes you from holding high office 
elsewhere on the island with another family member, one that belongs to the 
council, one that prevents you from being a vassal to a region lord.
