I noticed today that the option was removed, at least temporarily, so I
don't know if this is a moot point or not. Awhile back there was a
discussion about an automatic duel being created when someone used strip
nobility so it could not be abused as easily. It seems it was
implemented, but the duel is only a duel to surrender. Perhaps if it
was a duel to the death (as you say yourself Tom, this is a "ruin your
life option") it would be less prone to abuse. If my character has a
risk of dying from this, I am less likely to push the button over
something stupid. As Tonie van Loon said in response to it being
removed, it is not just the ruler stripping the titles that is being
abused, but the lack of protests for doing so. Pressing the protest
button seems to make people label others as trouble makers and people
trying to make a rift in the realm. And I don't see a way to change that.
