I'm all for the 'King serve the lords' case, and perhaps banning is enough
for treason (and I suppose you'd still be executed as a noble), but you seem
to be arguing that there is no case where you should question one's
nobility.

Or perhaps you are suggesting the reason doesn't matter, so long as the
severity of the action is properly understood?
