The problem mainly comes from being king is such a hard job, that most realms really have a limited set of real candidates.
 
Unfortunately, I am one of those people who always gets elected back into positions. It is partly me running for them, but I hadn't experienced them before so hopefully people don't feel too annoyed at me for it. In Carelia I've held all positions apart from ruler and Duke within the last 2 years. Also on BT my char has held Duke, Arch Priest and Lord within the last year and a half. Having said that, I'd love to see the code changed to stop re-election, but would suggest maybe even 2 months. I think that people take it too seriously that they don't give newer nobles a chance.
