I agree it'd be slick for custom message groups similar to what you're
describing, and an annoying spam-boost on others.

I *think* message groups, or contacts, or something similar are
somewhere on the TODO list, but I could be wrong, and even so, I don't
think they're too high of a priority.  It would save time and reduce
misclicks and similar, but I guess there are more important things.
