I guess thats a risk when you invest money into *anything*, and guilds
aren't insured or anything. Still, BM code makes it not *all* that
advantageous for a single or small group of people to have ridiculosu
amounts of gold. Tax levels, recruitment limits, etc. If the average
person could recruit a 15k cs unit, then I'd be concerned, but its not
so. You need to work with people to get things done.

Thats an interesting point, I know the Church of Ibladesh was worth
thousands, because of a few people who gave gold to it frequently and
generously. However is that so bad? IRL, a lot of old colleges have
more money than you'd expect, mostly in real estate, I'd guess. Same
goes with churches. Look at the Vatican. Thats a bad example,
because it actually *is* a country, but still. My own church, every
now and that, has someone leave a few million dollar estate to
it...They're probably better off than a lot of successful
businessmen...But that doesn't *necessarily* bring about noticeable
corruption....And even if it did, it would create an interesting RP
point....A guild takes down a realm from the inside using its huge
caches of gold? That sounds like fun, provided there aren't OOC clans
going about it.
