[Discuss] All realms feudal monarchies?

I thing I just thought of that may help balance...

The King often had 'royal knights'  I know the template for these is there,
but these could be knights that could be directly ordered by the king so he
didn't have to always beg his lords to get something done.  This assumes of
course, that the government earns enough money to hire knights.
