I don't disagree with that. Only problem is the load of people already 
waiting on SEI (SWI too?). One would imagine... a case of rock and hard 
place, whatever is done.

incidentally, new characters can get taxes... well.. the one I made 
previously was pledged to a lord on the 1st day and got (regional) taxes 
on the 2nd - not sure about the realm taxes though
