I don't agree with this either. I never allow my characters to know of
something that is explicitly stated as private inside an RP. Actually,
even when someone writes a quite public RP, all my chars get are
rumours. So, I'd say:
"means everyone who got the RP might know about the gold. - Good
(role)players won't possibly allow their chars to, bad (role)players
will."
Honestly, I expect no people to use my RPs against me, but I know I'm
under such risk. Like when Tai wrote a letter and signed as her
step-mother... The RP previous to the writing showed it, but no-one is
expected to know it. This allows the players to know it wasn't her
words, if their chars ever decide to question her mother for another
reason, and anyway, they shouldn't be interested in commoners that
much. :P
