I don't think you're being overly cumbersome at all.  I think that the
implementation of Dwilight has "upped" the game (or should have) on
the other islands.  My judge character has already taken someone to
task for addressing her improperly, and I have definitely noticed a
greater use of respectful titles being used.  I think it's great.
