No, certainly not "solely limited to."  Your example is most certainly 
a
roleplay message.

Anything that has any narrative in it should be classified as a
roleplay.  Anything that is purely a direct address to one or more
people should be classified as a letter (or other appropriate type).

overly dramatic hand gestures would be legitimately tagged "Roleplay"?
