So everyone in the realm are quite confuse as to what got breached.  The 
marshal system was indeed use as he give the order as the SiC.

OOC: It really is not clear about how this system is supposed to work. I 
don't remember seeing if there was any condition about the General, 
Marshal, and SIC being three different people or if it is fine for the 
same person to hold more than one of these three positions to use it as 
a convenience to get messages out quickly :-?

OOC: As for the issue with Alex - he definitely said that he "will 
continue to post orders" - but this was not an order itself, and when he 
did post his first order, he was the SIC. The whole point of me changing 
the SIC was just for this reason since SIC is the next in chain after 
Marshal.

I am thinking of taking this up OOC in the discussion list with Tom and 
find out what was wrong here. I don't get the point when someone is 
trying to use the methods/options available in the game so that the 
rules set not broken. (This again is considering the fact that there was 
nothing stated about same person holding more than one position)

I am sending it as I intended to do so and he unregistered from the 
mailing list a while ago.  When he speak about General and Marshal being 
the same person, I think to remember seeing a news messages saying that 
it could be done, but not fully sure, so he could be wrong on that small 
detail, which make the lightning bolt even harder to understand.
