I run into this problem too, there are only a handful of Spadaccini's in 
the whole US.  I've never really had an issue with it though.  I believe 
(or at least I've seen) many people use an alias in their display name. 
  I believe a lot of the reason it is used is to help track down 
cheaters.  If people can see your name it helps determine if you only 
have one account (Tom can't possibly look at all of them himself).
