My apologies if this has already been discussed.
When I signed up for BM, the form asked for my real name. I rarely provide
this type of information, but out of respect for Tom's wish to know who's
playing his game, I complied.
I really enjoy the game and would like to have another character.
Unfortunately, my name is unique enough that when it's combined with my time
zone information, it wouldn't be hard to track me down. Everyone I've run
into in the game has been great, but it only takes one person to make a
problem so I try to err on the side of caution.
Now, I know I can just leave my information private and live with it, but
why is it necessary to show the full last name when a profile is made
public? Wouldn't a first name and last initial be sufficient?
Thank you,
Darkling
