[Discuss] Choosing where to start

It used to be that when you created a new character and chose where he
would start, you'd get to see all sorts of nice things that helped you
decide. You'd get to see the map, read the realm descriptions, see who
was king, what region belonged to the realm, whether it was a tyranny or
a monarchy etc.

Now, you get an worthless list of duchies that offers you very little
information(number of regions in the duchy, number of nobles in the
duchy and a 'glory' rating that reflects how much battles there has been).

For the experienced player it absolutely sucked. I had to login to one
of my existing characters, open the political map and manipulate the URL
a bit just to see a current map of the island and where the potentially
interesting duchies were located! The lack of information offered was
simply put disheartening. Could this be improved a bit to offer some of
the missing information I listed above?
