Totally backwards for a medieval-oriented game. Nobles are the ones with
mobility and freedom. The only freedom a commoner enjoyed was freedom
from starvation, at least most of the time.

______________

I'd agree if these were "peasants/commoners" but as we've seen they are not played truly as such by anyone who has one (that I've seen). They are wandering "nobles" in effect. As long as the player isn't restricted to keeping his Adventurer in a realm, they are going to wander around trying to find something to do to enhance their standing and hopefully one day to gain recognition as a true noble. How many normal "commoners" really would ever have a "Unique Item"? And how many would somehow manage to stumble on said item when they don't wander away from home? I find it hard to believe that they would be born and raised in one particular region and know it intimately (since they don't travel and they don't work the land, they have to do something) and all of a sudden they find this magical item and they have no fear of the real nobility they are despised by...and their sole goal is to try to offer it to the noble lord for a bit of gold and a promise
that if they somehow manage to find at least 2 more of these very unique items which can be sold to still other friendly real nobles, in the hope of someday getting to join them as comrades in arms. If the game is changed to restrict Adventurers to only stay in realm, I
suspect there will be a lot less of them very quickly when players kill
off their Addy character.

I like playing my adventurer now but it took me several attempts before I found the way I like to play it....and in order to enjoy it, my adventurer travels freely across the lands. However, that enjoyment is greatly soured when he hears reports of many adventurers being killed off by the monsters/undead/daimons. So I was asking for was a way to move my Adventurer to a new place to allow him some new experiences.
