Hmmm I don't know..... There are so many people it's hard to say many are
involved. I'd say one out of every 3 people you talk to would be a good
guess if you're in a really entrenched realm, like Old Rancagua, otherwise 1
in 7. That was post peace though so I'm not totally sure what it's like now.
Next few months? Dont lie - you mean next year after another half a

-shrug- Why would I lie? I hardly know exactly what everyone is doing, but
the mad cultists have never paused for more then a few months
tops. Heck two of them made a play in Fontan just a little while ago, it was
all the talk at the
time, and another is acting up on BT, as if they don't have enough troubles.
Either way you don't have to wait for them, I'm just saying things are
always happening if people are willing to look rather then hope it comes to
them.
If the /only/ thing a person is interested in "Battle"master is RP

-chuckle- No rp on EC effects a handful of
players, just not everyone might know exactly the cause of what
happens to them. And don't bring out the argument that
because battle is in the title the game must be about it.
Final fantasy has more then one game, the word chess doesn't imply the
movement of pieces, and just because it says master in the title doesn't
mean only men can play. Battle just sounds more catchy then say, cheese.
Point: A balance needs to be found.

Constant warfare would be rather odd from the point of view of the
characters. The Great War lasted almost 5 years, a break
for people to rest isn't so weird. Similarly from a ruler's point of view
fighting a war you can't loose sounds like an excellent
idea, not only does it keep people too busy to plot against you but
there's little chance of you losing favor through defeat.
That's one of the reasons why I found it so strange that the Pandemonium war
ended so quickly when they could have dragged it out and kept people
entertained for months. If all people want is fighting you could just have
the realms agree to do boarder skirmishes over full blown annihilation slug
fests, you know pop over the boarder and scuffle with a few lads before
heading home for a drink. That kind of fighting was rather common, but in BM
people like the hammers followed by the total annihilation of their
enemy, which results in a lack of enemies of course. You do have it right
about the immortal powerhouses, the game plays out more like vampires then
nobles.

Which I am totally willing to do.
If it takes diving 20 people away from the game, so that 100 others do
not pack up and leave due to boredom, then in my book that's the
rational thing to do.
Except it just starts the cycle anew rather then fixes the problem.
