I must say.. from what I experienced over in Ikalak on SEI (a while 
back), the sending gold home thing is a bit off. can't be that many 
people doing it. It's "illegal" to start with. Those who did it were 
either sitting in the capital for weeks.. and got themselves banned 
whilst doing so.. or did it via small amounts over a long period. I'd 
say it's not even a consideration regarding battles.

Most of the money made were used to pay/repair and recruit even. Like I 
mentioned before about Duke of york. marching around will eat up all 
that gold.

heck.. after Ikalak went down the tubes, most people can't even make 
enough money to pay their men.. let alone send anything home.

Not a bad thing to do though... no more temptations.
