Well, I just thought it would take the focus of religions too much for
getting regions... Not nobles or whatever else. And would probably
make the realms even more wary of letting priests into their lands...
(even with priests not having a realm, for multiple faiths in a region
often makes it unstable) Thus, while the suggestion helps nobles to be
more connected to religions in game, it might not add much to the
"Power to Religions" scheme. Though if families could choose even from
the 0,01% religion in the region, we could have a massive religious
"war" among priests and such, making realms possibly more unstable,
for regions would have more chances to have over 1 major faith.
Now, depending on the scale of the change a family faith could do to
the region, it could give more power to religions, or even take power
from priests, so should be looked into very carefully.
