[Discuss] Another Take on Religion

If you are going to make GM controlled gods, rather than having a
visible pantheon where only religions with gods get visible and game
endorsed entrance into this pantheon, go with something a little less
visible and god-being centered. Like having a GM in charge of each
endorsed religion. There would be no necessity to have gods and
maintain a pantheon, and the GMs would be better able to respond in a
way specifically tailored to their religion. I'm sure there would be
more than a few ppl willing to take on this additional task.

it would even work with that proposed "prayer" system. Religions
without gods would just have to get creative with it, using it to send
RPs that specifically pertain to gaining or losing enlightenment. The
GMs should also have access to all the messages in the religion if
they want to read them. "Prayer" should also be costly or difficult so
the GMs are not flooded with piles of useless messages.

As a note, they would not have power to deal with problems like the
titans, so they wouldn't get all the complaints and crap. Also, no one
need know who they are or that they exist for any given religion.
