I also have characters in ASI on Atamara. I agree with Loren. I really like
the dimension that religion gives my characters. I feel lke it gives them
something to feel passionate about. I may not be able to really "feel" what
religion meant to the people at the time (because I can't interview them),
but I had a very religious upbringing. It was passionate and touchy feely
and mystical. I know how spirituality feels and what it looks like. I also
know what it looks like when people use religion as a political tool. I see
no reason to abandon religion just because some players feel too enlightened
to enjoy what religion has to offer. You've still got players like me and
Loren that enjoy the heck out of their unenlightened characters.
