No.  That is *emphatically* not true.

The game *explicitly* states that the age given for your characters  
is *physical age*, not *calendar age*.  That is, it is the age your  
character "feels".  That is why being tortured 21 times in a row will  
age your character 2 years overnight.  It *DOES NOT* mean that your  
character is really 2 years older, as if a spell had been cast on  
them to age them.  It just means that they have more aches and pains,  
more damage to their body, and they're 2 years closer to death.
