He was stripped of all of his titles by the Pontifex and assassinated. My job as the judge was really fun here, let me tell you, especially since it seems 9 out of 10 BMers don't know how to play the game (or that there are forms of government besides a Democracy). So, the Pontifex strips the general of his nobility, basically saying he was never a noble and a peasant. She receives a ton of protests so I use the impeachment option to let the people decide if she made a bad call. I ban the traitor.I fine the infiltrator 50 gold for attacking a noble of our realm (wasn't banned yet, so he's still a noble).Because of those actions I have been protested constantly, insulted OOC on a non-stop basis, and all manner of unkindly things. It even specifically says in the game when the titles are stripped that it is a "no-no" to use the stripping of titles for "bad, evil, or destructive reasons". Well, plotting a rebellion is destructive, it surely doesn't mean the guy is not a noble, so why on earth can people legitimately protest bringing up an impeachment over the issue? Everyone's response is, "Oh, he was a rebel so he should be stripped of nobility." It doesn't make sense. The bottom line is, most of the people in BM think that BM takes place in 2007 and the only government that exists is Republic and Democracies. I think to cement this idea into peoples minds there should be punishments (OOC) for behaving as such and we judges should be allowed to ban and fine for protests in anything from a Tyranny to a Theocracy (Republics and Democracies for the most part can cause trouble if you ban/fine people for reasons like that). I mean, if everyone thinks that free speech in a Tyranny, Monarchy, or Theocracy (and speech constructed based on zero facts or logic) is protected by the GM, there is a problem.

I agree, people protest way to often. I also think that there should be a look at that to, and if you use it to often you get a punishment or something. I also agree that if one protest inside a Theocracy or a Tyranny he should be able to be fined, simply because you don't always have freemdom of speach. They say that the pontifex is in direct contact with the god. If you protest him/here you protest your god. Unless you think that he/she doesn't follow the moral codes of your god. I mean, in such a case a judge should be allowed to ban the person. Also I don't think that stripping his title is correct and in this situation used to soon. I mean, if one plans a rebellion he is surely an enemie of your realm. But he remains a noble.

Just my opinion though
