The only problem I see with the "those who limit themselves to one realm
suffer" is that, as you said, over time religions cross borders all by
themselves...simply as a "diaspora effect". If you could code that, then it
would be fine, but it seems to me, a simply java coder, that it might take a
few extra algorithms and such.
However, the second idea, in that religions profit from having followers in
many realms...Perhaps take out the "contributions" to religions that are
only in one realm, or decrease them dramatically?
