Have you actually seen this, or are you just speculating?
Because I've seen, first-hand, that threatening a realm with
destruction will just get them to say, "Fine. Come get us." And
it's not like they don't know we're willing to do it. They'd just
rather see us have to deal with the claims hanging on for months than
actually admit defeat and live in a smaller, defeated, basically
helpless (at this point...though the original offer would have left
them far from helpless) realm.
